Bangor DSA Assessment Centre is a DSA-QAG accredited outreach assessment centre with appointments for needs assessments available within the next 2-3 days. The centre is located at 30 Dean Street, Bangor and can be easily accessed by train and car.
At the centre we provide DSA needs assessments for any student at university, or due to start at university, who has applied for Disabled Student’s Allowances (DSA).

The Bangor Assessment Centre is located at 30 Dean Street, Bangor, which is approximately a 10 minute walk from Bangor University and a 15 minute walk from the train station.
From the entrance of the main University building on College Road, walk alongside the left-hand side of the building using the pathway, towards rear exit on Penrallt Road. From here, follow the path across the park towards the City Centre. At the roundabout, cross the road onto Well Street and walk past the Menai Car Park on your left before turning left onto Ashley Road. At the end of Ashley Road, turn right onto Dean Street and the Assessment Centre is 50 metres up this road on the left (the building with the blue fascia).
From the railway station, exit the station and cross the road onto the A5 heading towards the City centre. After approximately 300 metres, via left at the roundabout, staying on the A5. Continue along the road for another 600 metres and at the next roundabout, turn right onto Well Street. Walk past the Menai Car Park on your left and then turn left onto Ashley Road. At the end of Ashley Road, turn right onto Dean Street and the Assessment Centre is 50 metres up this road on the left (the building with the blue fascia).
If driving to the Centre, please use the postcode LL57 2DD to search online for the best route for you. This is the postcode for the Menai Centre Car Park on Dean Street which is less than a minute walk from the Assessment Centre.
Once at Assessment Centre, your assessor will come and meet you.
