Finding us:

Bradford Assessment Centre is based in Unit 14 on the Listerhills Science Park. If arriving at the Science Park via Campus Road, Unit 14 is the second set of units on the right (if travelling from the Campus Road entrance on Shearbridge Road). The units numbers are odd on one side of the road and even on the other, so look for the sign saying Units 10 to 18. The entrance to the centre is at the rear of the building, so once you have found the right Unit number, walk around to the back and you will see a Contact Associates sign. Come in to the reception and your assessor will come and meet you there.

By Foot:

The centre is about a 20 minute walk from the train stations. The Bradford Assessment Centre is approximately a three minute walk from the main Bradford Univeristy building (Richmond Building). From the Bradford Interchange/Forster Square, walking takes about 20 minutes, though it is partly uphill.

From the Bradford Interchange;

  • Come down the hill on Bridge Street, cross the crossing and turn left in front of the City Hall into Centenary Square.

From Forster Square Station;

  • Walk along past the "Fibres" sculpture out onto Cheapside, then along Market Street to City Hall.
  • In Centenary Square, walk past the fountain on your left through Ciy Park with Forster's Bistro and Deli on your right.
  • Cross Godwin Street/Prince's Way (A6181) onto Thornton Road (B6145), with the Alhambra Theatre on your left and Jury's Inn on your right.
  • Continue along Thornton Road until you reach a large junction.
  • Take the second road on your left to go up Listerhills Road. Walk up Listerhills Road, until you see railings on the left-hand side.
  • Opposite the Punjab Sweet House and Grill, you will see a gate. Go through this gate and walk straight on to the road. Turn right when you reach the road.
  • Walk past two units on your left. The third unit (Unit 14) is the Contact Associates building, you will see the sign outside.
  • Walk across the car park and into the building.

When the Eye Clinic is on the left; continue forward onto Campus Road.

  • Turn left and contine up Campus Road for approximately one minute. On the right you will see units 25-39 and on the left, units 20-26.
  • Go into units 20-26 and follow the sign for Lisher Hill Innovation Centre. This takes you around the back of the building.
  • Press the silver buzzer to gain access.

By Train:

Bradford Interchange and Forster Square stations have extensive rail links. For traing tickets and information go to http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ or call 08457 48 49 50.

By Bus:

There is a free city bus service which connects Bradford Interchange and Forster Square stations with the University of Bradford and will drop you off on Great Horton Road which is adjacent to the Richmond Building. The buses run every ten minutes from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 5.30pm on Saturdays.

Buses 610/1/2/3/4 leave from Channing Way outside City Hall at regular intervals during the day and pass the main campus about 5 minutes later, costing around 60p.

The bus service numbers 636 and 637 (the Clayton bus) depart from The Tyrls (in front of the Town Hall and Magistrates Court). You will need to get off the bus two stops up on Legrams/ Listerhills Lane. When you get off the bus, walk up the road a few yards and pass through the green gate which leads you on to Listerhills Science Park.

By Car:

You can use the centre's postcode to get directions from your location. On arrival, pull in to the rear of Units 10-18 and park in a free bay. The entrance to the centre is at the rear of the building, so once parked, come in and ask at reception for a parking permit.
