Centre Info

Teesside DSA Assessment Centre is a DSA-QAG accredited outreach assessment centre with appointments for needs assessments available within the next 2-3 days. The centre is located at Queens Court on Gilkes Street, Middlesbrough and can be easily accessed by train and car.

At the centre we provide DSA needs assessments for any student at university, or due to start at university, who has applied for Disabled Student’s Allowances (DSA).

Centre facilities:

  • Assessments are usually available within the next 2-3 days.
  • We can offer assessments from Monday to Friday; 10am to 4pm.
  • Nearby parking available at Captain Cook Square Car Park.
  • Middlesbrough train  station is a 10-minute walk away.

Teesside Assessment Centre is located in Queens Court, near the centre of Middlesbrough, just off Newport Road.

The nearest station is Middlesbrough Railway Station which is approximately a 10 minute walk from the Assessment Centre.

Exit the station onto Zetland Road and pass under the A66 towards Wilson Street. Turn right, staying on Wilson Street and follow the road around to the left until you meet the junction with Newport Road with the bus station on your left and BBC Tees directly in front of you. Carry on along Newport Road with BBC Tees on your left until you come to the corner of Gilkes Street. Queens Court is directly in front of you.

If driving to the Centre, please use the postcode TS1 5AP to search online for the best route for you. This is the postcode for Captain Cook Square Car Park which is approximately a 2 minute walk from the Assessment Centre.
