Derby Assessment Centre
Derby Assessment Centre is a fully-equipped DSA-QAG accredited outreach assessment centre with appointments for needs assessments available within the next 2-3 days. The centre is located in the city centre, a few minutes walk from the intu Derby shopping centre.
At the centre we provide DSA needs assessments for any student at university, or due to start at university, who has applied for Disabled Student’s Allowances (DSA).

- Assessments are usually available within the next 2-3 days.
- We can offer assessments from Monday to Friday; 10am to 4pm.
- On-site parking is available.

Finding us:
Derby Assessment Centre is located within The Town House on Green Lane. On arrival, ring the bell next to the Contact Associates sign and your assessor will come and meet you.
By Foot:
The centre is about a 15 minute walk from the train station.
By Bus from Train station:
- (Stop S1) - Bus towards Allestree, University Bus Park
- From Victoria Street (Stop B5), walk to the destination.
By Car from Train station:
- Turn south on Railway Terrace (B6000)
- Continue onto Midland Road
- At the end of the road turn right onto London Road (A5914)
- At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Bradshaw Way (A601)
- At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Lara Croft Way
- At the next roundabout, take the forth exit onto Babington Lane
- Continue along Babington Lane, bear left at the end onto Gower Street
- At the end of Gower Street, turn left onto Green Lane
- Continue down Green Lane and our assessment centre is on the left.
- If you need to park then turn left at the end of Green Lane back onto Babington Lane, immediately on your left is a ramp leading up to the back entrance to the centre - park in a free bay and ring the bell for Contact Associates and your assessor will come and meet you.
