Exeter City Centre Assessment Centre is a DSA-QAG accredited outreach assessment centre with appointments for needs assessments available within the next 2-3 days. The centre is located close to the city centre and can be easily accessed by train or car.
At the centre we provide DSA needs assessments for any student at university, or due to start at university, who has applied for Disabled Student’s Allowances (DSA).

Exeter City Centre Assessment Centre is located at 11-15 Dix's Field in Exeter, close to Princesshay, the bus station and a 10 minute walk from Exeter Central train station.
Directions from Exeter Bus Station, which is under a 5 minute walk to the assessment centre:
Exit the station onto Bampfylde Street and turn left towards the city centre. At the end of Bampfylde Street, cross Paris Street onto Southernhay East and after approximately 50 metres, turn left onto Dix's Field. Walk to the end of Dix's Field (just under 200 metres) and the Assessment Centre is in the last building on the right-hand side (11-15 Dix's Field).
Directions from Exeter Central train station:
Exit the station and turn left onto Queen Street. Walk to the end of Queen Street (approximately 350 metres) and then turn left onto the High Street. Follow the High Street for approximately 400 metres and then turn right in front of the 'Next' shop and walk towards the 'Giraffe' restaurant. Follow Roman Walk to the left of the restaurant and stay on this path for approximately 50 metres until it meets Southernhay East at the entrance to the Princesshay Car Park. Walk straight ahead onto Southernhay East and then onto Dix's Field. Walk to the end of Dix's Field (just under 200 metres) and the Assessment Centre is in the last building on the right-hand side (11-15 Dix's Field).
If driving to the Centre, please use the postcode EX1 1EU to search online for the best route for you. This is the postcode for the Princesshay Car Park which is only a 2 minute walk from the Assessment Centre.
Once at 11-15 Dix's Field, please enter the building and push the 'Contact Associates' button on the intercom unit on the right-hand side. The assessment room is located on the lower ground floor. Once on this floor, please go through the double door immediately opposite the stairway (with the Contact Associates sign) and sit on the chairs provided in the corridor alongside the assessment room. Please do not enter any other rooms in the corridor as they do not belong to Contact Associates.
