About us

Contact Associates delivers high quality assessments, which enable disabled students to access the specialist equipment and support they need to fulfil their potential at university or college.

We are able to offer a nationwide assessment service through our network of 100 skilled and experienced disability specialists. We’ve made a commitment to recruit and train the very best DSA assessors with the ability to engage effectively with people.

We’ve invested in fully equipped centres in convenient locations across England. We also have a fully equipped centre in Belfast.

Contact Associates recognises that compliments and complaints are an important part of customer feedback and ensures that all complaints are investigated fully and fairly. Click here to see our full complaints policy.

The assessment fee is paid by the funding body and is fully inclusive of the service that Contact Associates provides throughout a student’s course. This includes the initial meeting with a DSA assessor, the writing up of a needs assessment report, liaising with the funding body on equipment and support recommended, additional queries from the student regarding additional needs and feedback on the assessment process at two points during the course. Students presenting additional medical evidence during their course may be eligible for a review of needs and Contact Associates can provide assistance in arranging approval for this.
