DSA Help with Contact Associates

Contact Associates delivers high-quality assessments, which enables disabled students to access the specialist equipment, DSA help and support they need to fulfil their potential at university or college.

Established in 2005, we are able to offer DSA help with a nationwide assessment service through our network of 100 skilled and experienced disability specialists. We’ve made a commitment to recruit and train the very best assessors with the ability to engage effectively with people.

We’ve invested in fully equipped centres in convenient locations across England, Wales and Scotland. We also have a fully equipped centre in Belfast.

The assessment fee is paid by the funding body and is fully inclusive of the service that Contact Associates provides throughout a student’s course. This includes the initial meeting with a needs assessor, the writing up of a needs assessment report, liaising with the funding body on equipment and support recommended, additional queries from the student regarding additional needs and feedback on the assessment process at two points during the course. Students presenting additional medical evidence during their course may be eligible for a review of needs and Contact Associates can provide assistance in arranging approval for this.
